By the end of the course you will be skilled in the art of meditation and able to sit in your own stillness daily.
There are numerous ways to meditate, from breath meditation, chakra clearing meditation, visualisations and guided meditations. Tom teaches a deep, transcending style meditation using primordial sounds or mantras known as Vedic Meditation. In this meditation you will receive a mantra or sound to repeat effortlessly inside your head for 20 minutes. The reason Tom teaches this meditation is because it had a huge effect on his life and has also had a hugely positive effect on the thousands of students lives that he has taught from all over the world.
In the course you will also receive a depth of knowledge that will support your meditation experience. Knowledge about technique, process and results is a very important part of mastering meditation. Knowing when to meditate, how to meditate and why you will have thoughts during your meditation will help you flow with your practice.
There are two ways that you can learn this meditation. You can learn in person with Tom at one of his weekend workshops in Bondi. These are held on Saturday and Sunday between 11am and 2pm (lunch is included).
The Course Outline
Session 1: (Saturday 11am) Receive your personal mantra and learn how to meditate from the start!
Session 2: (Saturday 1pm) Receive the best recommended guidelines to achieve the most profound effect out of your meditation. Check your mantra and meditate again with the group.
Session 3: (Sunday 11am) Discover how stress gets stuck in the body and how this stress is released during meditation. Check mantra if needed and meditate with the group.
Session 4: (Sunday 1pm) Explore the 7 states of consciousness and how regular meditation will improve your life on every level!
